Welcome! I’m Pam Liberatore, the proud owner of Paw & Order Westmoreland…
My family always had pets, from lizards and rabbits to cats and dogs. Growing up, I witnessed the challenges of untrained dogs and how genetics influenced their behavior. As a teenager, myy Google search history became littered with searches related to dog breeds and health issues.
In 2017, my husband Brian and I began volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I fell in love with a brindle Pit-Mix named Hero. Initially hesitant to adopt, Brian eventually warmed up to Hero, and we planned to bring him home. Just before the adoption, we learned that Hero had injured and hospitalized another volunteer, which prompted the shelter to ask, “Are you serious about adopting Hero?” This moment changed my life.
We adopted Hero and immediately sought training, failing with two trainers before discovering Paw & Order. After two evaluations to confirm our commitment, we engaged in on-site lessons and put in a lot of effort at home. The day Hero met my parents was transformative, allowing us to take him on adventures without fear of aggression.
After completing Hero’s training, I contacted Elissa, the founder of Paw & Order, about job openings. I had discovered my passion, and after working for the Pittsburgh Pack for several years, I seized the opportunity to own my own location. I feel truly blessed to help others achieve their goals with their dogs.
Our Paw & Order Westmoreland Pack offers the following dog training programs. Contact us today for more information or to get scheduled.
Our trainer comes to your home and works with you and your dog in their familiar environment. Our most popular package offers everything you need to achieve your training goals together.
Your dog will undergo real-world training while in our care for approximately 3 weeks, receiving one-on-one sessions, socializing with other dogs, and honing their skills on field trips.
We don't currently offer group classes, but we are searching for a space to organize classes in the future.
Limited availability! Our trainer will meet with you virtually, observe and assess the dog's behavior issues, and provide step by step guidance.
All of our training curriculum is customized for each dog, but with our Hybrid program, we can combine various programs (i.e. in-home AND stay & train). Contact us for details.
We do not hold prep classes, but we can certify your dog to be officially recognized as a Good Canine Citizen by the AKC.
We do not hold prep classes, but we can certify your dog as a therapy dog through Therapy Dogs United.
Our favorite service is FREE to our clients - we organize fun activities for our clients and their dogs. Join us at the bar or at the trail, just be sure to bring your dog!
In the Westmoreland canine justice system, the dogs are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: The professional dog trainers, who investigate and solve the dog’s behavior problems; and the dog owners, who uphold the training knowledge taught to them.

Would you enjoy hiking, kayaking, or just hanging out with other dogs and their owners at a bar? With our regular adventures, you can have fun while socializing, practicing your dog’s training, and learning from other owners.
