Welcome! I’m John Rossakis, the proud owner of Paw & Order Twin Cities…
I began my career in law enforcement in 2003 in DeKalb County, Georgia. After moving to a smaller city agency, I dedicated my extra time to canine handling and training. Despite numerous opportunities in different roles, my singular focus was on K9 work. I was fortunate to quickly join the K9 unit, where I had the privilege of working alongside three exceptional partners. Throughout my career, I received invaluable guidance from outstanding trainers, allowing me to hone my skills with police and military working dogs. Eventually, I became a master trainer through Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, Indiana.
In addition, I became a certifying official for the American Working Dog Association, which enabled me to certify dog teams from across the country. I led and participated in several working dog seminars, where I had the pleasure of meeting Elissa and Steve Sentner from Paw & Order Dog Training. When I decided to transition out of law enforcement, my choice was clear: Paw & Order Dog Training.
With support from many mentors, I was able to pursue my dream of owning a dog training company. After two successful years at this location, we’ve established ourselves as a prominent name in the industry. We are committed to providing solid, clear, and effective dog training while also focusing on building owners’ confidence and skills in training their dogs.

Our trainer comes to your home and works with you and your dog in their familiar environment. Our most popular package offers everything you need to achieve your training goals together.
Small dogs only! Your dog will undergo real-world training while in our care for approximately 3 weeks, receiving one-on-one sessions, socializing with other dogs, and honing their skills on field trips.
We don't currently offer group classes, but we are searching for a space to organize classes in the future.
Limited availability! Our trainer will meet with you virtually, observe and assess the dog's behavior issues, and provide step by step guidance.
All of our training curriculum is customized for each dog, but with our Hybrid program, we can combine various programs (i.e. in-home AND stay & train). Contact us for details.
We do not hold prep classes, but we can certify your dog to be officially recognized as a Good Canine Citizen by the AKC.
We do not hold prep classes, but we can certify your dog as a therapy dog through Therapy Dogs United.
Our favorite service is FREE to our clients - we organize fun activities for our clients and their dogs. Join us at the bar or at the trail, just be sure to bring your dog!
In the Southwest Florida canine justice system, the dogs are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: The professional dog trainers, who investigate and solve the dog’s behavior problems; and the dog owners, who uphold the training knowledge taught to them.
