This is not your typical pet store obedience class. You will get results! This 5-week class will address many unwanted dog behaviors. If you have a “pretty good dog” but they could use a tune-up, this is for you. If you’re dog has aggression issues, you will need to inquire about either our In-Home Program or our Stay & Train Program. Classes are limited to 4 dogs so you can be sure you will get a lot of one-on-one coaching. Contact your trainer to inquire about upcoming class schedules.

This 5-week dog training group class is designed to prepare your dog to pass the CGC Test with flying colors! Your dog should already exhibit some level of obedience training before taking this class. This class is not required to take the CGC Test. Contact your local trainer to inquire about upcoming class schedules.

The AKC STAR Puppy Class is geared towards getting pups and their owners off to a great start and is going to be offered to pups between 8 weeks and 6 months of age. Training can typically start as soon as soon as your puppy has completed the first round of vaccines (with the approval of your veterinarian), which can be as early as eight weeks.
The AKC STAR Puppy certification is a great first step towards the Canine Good Citizen exam!

We have been recognized as Certified Therapy Dog Evaluators by Therapy Dogs United. This 7-week class will prepare your dog for the final exam. A certified therapy dog with Therapy Dogs United is only authorized to visit the general public through an approved program or service endorsed or created by Therapy Dogs United. We do not certify therapy dogs for an individual’s private use or medical needs.
Every dog is required to pass the CGC Test before he/she can volunteer and work in TDU’s programs. According to the AKC, your dog is eligible to take the CGC evaluation at any age, however, if your dog receives his/her CGC certificate prior to turning one year old (12 months of age) you MUST retake the CGC exam as part of TDU’s therapy dog certification process.
